Beata Stelmach – Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

A graduate of the Warsaw School of Finance and Statistics, as well as Calgary University (MBA) and INSEAD. She was employed in the Office of the Security Inspectorate, then held the position of Director of the Secretariat of the Commission, with a function of spokesperson. She took part in the negotiations on Polish accession to the OECD and to the EU. She was also a consultant for the World Bank. For many years, Mrs. Stelmach served as a President of the Board of the Warsaw Stock Exchange. On May 1st, 2011 she was appointed to the position of the Secretary of State in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where she is responsible for promoting and supporting Polish businesses in foreign markets.


Zofia Szalczyk – Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development

A graduate of the Agricultural University in Poznań. In 1981, she received the title of a Doctor of the University of Agricultural Sciences. She has been working in the Agency for Restructuring and Modernization of Agriculture for many years. In the period of 2007-2008, she was a Vice-President of the Management Board of the Fund for the Promotion and Development of the Wielkopolska Region. From 2008 to 2012, she served as a Vice-President of the Agency for Restructuring and Modernization of Agriculture. For ten years, she has been the director of the Agricultural Advisory Centre "Sielinko". She is also a lecturer at the University of Economics in Poznan and an author of numerous scientific publications. On September 12th, 2012 the Prime Minister Donald Tusk appointed Zofia Szalczyk to the position of the Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

Andrzej Dycha - Undersecretary of State, Ministry of Economy

A graduate of political science and social sciences at the University of Szczecin, with a specialization in European integration. From 2002 to 2004, he studied political science at Université Montesquieu Bordeaux IV in France. In 2004-2006, he worked in the European Parliament. From 2006 to 2007 he worked as an assistant in a political group “Union for the Europe of the Nations” in the European Parliament. On December 10th, 2007 he was appointed to the position of the Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. On December 21st, 2011, the Prime Minister Donald Tusk appointed him to the office of the Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Economy. He is also the national coordinator of the cooperation between Poland and OECD.

Andrzej Zarajczyk – President of the Polish - Balkan Chamber of Commerce

A graduate of the Faculty of Economics at the University of Warsaw. He speaks fluent Serbian and English. Since 1977 he has been an employee of the Foreign Trade Automotive Industry Enterprise POL- MOT. He has been dealing mainly with the Balkan markets, realizing export transactions, as well as import and cooperation projects. From 1982 to 1986 he was working in the sales office in Belgrade. Since then he has been a part of the management board of the company, and in 1989 was appointed as the CEO of POL- MOT. Since 1989 he has been a President of the Polish - Balkan Chamber of Commerce, and a President of the Association of Polish Employers 'Lewiatan'. He has been a member of management boards of many Polish companies, especially within the automotive sector.

Marek Kłoczko - Secretary General of the Chamber of Commerce

Graduated from the Technical University of Budapest in 1976, and in 1979 from the Warsaw School of Economics. From 1991 to 1993 he was a Member of the Parliament where he worked for the Committee on Foreign Relations. He was in charge of the PHARE Programme Polish Export Promotion EXPROM. Since 1993, he has represented the National Chamber of Commerce in the Association of Chambers of Industry EUROCHAMBRES in Brussels. Since September 2005, he has been a Member of the Association Authorities. He managed the Polish participation in the World Exhibition EXPO 2000 in Hanover and was the Commissioner General of the Polish Section of EXPO 2005 in Aichi. He is a member of numerous organizations and business associations. He has been awarded for his work with many honors and medals.

Marek Łyżwa Radca – Minister-Counsellor, Head of the Investment Promotion Section of the Polish Embassy in Zagreb

In 1972 he received a master's degree in economics from the Warsaw School of Finance and Statistics, and in 1981 graduated from the Postgraduate School of Foreign Trade and Foreign Service. From 1972 to 1982 he worked at the Ministry of Foreign Trade. Since 1982 he worked for the Polish Embassy in Singapore, where he was engaged in commercial affairs. From 1993 to 2001, he was the Commercial Counsellor in the Embassy in Malaysia. Later, he worked for the Ministry of Economy and was the Vice-President of the Polish Export Credit Insurance Corporation (KUKE). From 2003 to 2009 he was a Minister Counsellor in the Embassy in China. Since 2009, he has been a member of the management board of the Polish Agency of Information and Foreign Investment responsible for foreign investment and business transactions. Today, he holds the position of Minister-Counsellor and Head of the Department of Trade and Investment Promotion in the Embassy in Zagreb. 

Grzegorz Benedykciński – Mayor of Grodzisk Mazowiecki

In 1982, he obtained the title of Master of Science from the University of Technology and Agriculture in Bydgoszcz, then finished his postgraduate studies at the Warsaw School of Economics (specialization in strategic management of municipalities). Since 1994, he is the mayor of Grodzisk Mazowiecki. In 2010-2011 and in 2013 he received the title of the Best Mayor of the Year, and in 2012 the title of "the best Municipal Regional Manager of 2011". In 2006 he was awarded with the prize "European of the Year”. He is a specialist in attracting European funding and in infrastructure development. The Grodzisk municipality under the leadership of Mayor Grzegorz Benedykciński received a number of awards and certificates confirming the high level of management and proper development.

Prof. Alojzy Nowak –  Vice-Rector of the University of Warsaw

Graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics and the University of Warsaw. He is an economist whose main research interests include banking, international economic relations, risk management in financial and capital markets and economic analysis of the European Union. He is a Professor at the University of Warsaw. He is also the Director of the European Centre of University of Warsaw, Head of the Department at Kozminski University, Dean of the Faculty of Management, and since 2012 a Vice-Rector of the University of Warsaw for the Research and Liaisons. He is a member of supervisory boards of major Polish companies and an expert within the Polish Government. Author of numerous scientific publications.

Prof. Piotr Dyczek – Director of the Centre for the Study of Antiquity

Professor of the University of Warsaw and classical archaeologist. His academic interests include the culture of the Bronze Age in Greece, limes archeology and Illyrian archeology. He is the author of nearly 200 scientific works and a member of many scientific societies, including the German Archaeological Institute. An active participant of plenty of scientific congresses, he carried out numerous research projects. He is Head of the Department of History of Material Culture at the Institute of Archaeology of University of Warsaw and the Director of the Center for the Study of Antiquity of Southeastern Europe. The Centre conducts archaeological research on the four famous ancient positions: Novae (Bulgaria), Risan (Montenegro), Shkoder (Albania) and Tanis (Russia).
